The consortium of activist groups has 5 urgent demands to be applied in all EU countries:<
1. LOWER EMF EXPOSURES TO THE BIOINITIATIVE LIMIT OF 0.6 V/M
– Demanded by the European Parliament and to be applied by all Member States (Resolution 0047/2009; approved by majority of 95%).
– Petition-Electrosmog.be + Next-Up BioInitiative Petition: 27 751 signatures.

2. ESTABLISH EMF WHITE ZONES: NO CELL PHONES, WIFI AND DECT- WIRELESS PHONES IN PLACES WITH CHILDREN OR ELDERLY (SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, CHURCHES,…)
For schools this ban on cell phones, WiFi and DECT-phones is demanded by the Council of Europe and to be applied by all Member States (Resolution 1815 (2011)).

3. RECOGNITION OF ELECTROHYPERSENSITIVITY AS A FUNCTIONAL
IMPAIRMENT (as in Sweden) 300 000 electrosensitives in Sweden alone.

4. NO 4G/LTE/WIMAX (transmitter masts or antennas)
Council of Europe (Resolution 1815; 2011):
“take all reasonable measures to reduce exposure to electromagnetic fields (…) recommends that the ALARA or “as low as reasonably achievable” principle is applied.

5. NO ‘SMART’ WIRELESS ENERGY METERS

ElectromagneticHealth.org is in agreement with these demands and in solidarity with the organizers of this protest. If you are in Europe, please give this event your full support.

PRESS RELEASE: European Electrosmog Protest on the 16th of Nov. in Brussels

The EU-conference on EMF and Health will be held on the 16th and the 17th of Nov. in Brussels (Belgium) in the Charlemagne building (Rue de la Loi 170).

We will protest during the conference. The European Electrosmog Protest will be held on Wednesday the 16th of November 2011 between 16h and 18h30. The protest will take place in the street ‘Rue de la Loi’ in Brussels, across from the Charlemagne building, at the entrance of the Schuman metro station.
